The most sustainable ski poles on the market

How is this ^ true?

Aside from the art, everything you buy is made out of 100% upcycled ski pole.

Thousands and thousands of ski poles end up in the landfill every year. How?

  1. dropped off the chairlift

  2. left on top of the car

  3. forgotten at the ski base area (apres life)

  4. returned to the wrong rental shop

  5. left in the resort lobby or ski lockers

  6. etc.

It’s not unusual for resorts and retailers to have no method of repurposing or reselling them so they often end up in the dumpster.

Lost Souls Poles aims to give them a second life by taking perfectly functional ski poles, adding character, and getting them back on the slopes.

Your contribution keeps the ski industry’s carbon footprint down - one ski pole at a time.

Process

  1. collect ski poles

  2. quality control

  3. clean poles

  4. add stoke

  5. get them back on the slopes

Philosophy

A ‘lone ranger’ pole that was dropped off the chair lift and never found by its owner is still a perfectly functional pole.

Why throw it away when it still has life in it?

A new partner pole can find its match! Handles may be different but materials, graphics, and length will all be matching. It’s called character.

Many of our unclaimed poles even have their original partner. A perfectly good pair! No need to throw that away. Take your pick on a true pair or a fun mismatch!

So they’re just used poles?

Yes, they are used. A ski pole is not something that drastically advances in technology year after year though. We see it as a functional piece of gear that can use some refurbishing and pazazz. So that’s what we do to them to make a contribution to the ski industry’s environmental impact - no matter how small.
